Monsonta, Cargill and Syngenta's Seeds of Suicide should be banned all over the world
CCdafdfasdfasdf

From Seeds of Suicide of Monsanto, Cargill and Syngenta, to Seeds of Hope: Why the Indian Farmers Committing Suicide and the only way to stop is to stop Monsanto, Cargill and Syngenta from taking over Seeds and making it GM. It is clear that World Bank is forcing developing countries to go for Suicide Seeds of Monsanto, Cargill, and Syngenta and see what happened in India. This should stop all over the world
In 1998, the World Bank’s structural adjustment policies forced India to open up its seed sector to global corporations like Cargill, Monsanto and Syngenta. The global corporations changed the input economy overnight. Farm saved seeds were replaced by corporate seeds, which need fertilizers and pesticides and cannot be saved.
In a land where reincarnation is a commonly held belief, where the balance sheet of life is sorted out over lifetimes, where resilience and recovery has been the characteristic of the “kisan,” the peasant cultivation, why are Indian farmers committing suicide on a mass scale?
200,000 farmers have ended their lives since 1997.
Farmers’ suicides are the most tragic and dramatic symptom of the crisis of survival faced by Indian peasants.
Rapid increase in indebtedness is at the root of farmers’ taking their lives. Debt is a reflection of a negative economy. Two factors have transformed agriculture from a positive economy into a negative economy for peasants: the rising of costs of production and the falling prices of farm commodities. Both these factors are rooted in the policies of trade liberalization and corporate globalization.
Corporations prevent seed savings through patents and by engineering seeds with non-renewable traits. As a result, poor peasants have to buy new seeds for every planting season and what was traditionally a free resource, available by putting aside a small portion of the crop, becomes a commodity. This new expense increases poverty and leads to indebtness.
The shift from saved seed to corporate monopoly of the seed supply also represents a shift from biodiversity to monoculture in agriculture. The district of Warangal in Andhra Pradesh used to grow diverse legumes, millets, and oilseeds. Now the imposition of cotton monocultures has led to the loss of the wealth of farmer’s breeding and nature’s evolution.
Monocultures and uniformity increase the risk of crop failure, as diverse seeds adapted to diverse to eco-systems are replaced by the rushed introduction of uniform and often untested seeds into the market. When Monsanto first introduced Bt Cotton in 2002, the farmers lost 1 billion rupees due to crop failure. Instead of 1,500 kilos per acre as promised by the company, the harvest was as low as 200 kilos per acre. Instead of incomes of 10,000 rupees an acre, farmers ran into losses of 6,400 rupees an acre. In the state of Bihar, when farm-saved corn seed was displaced by Monsanto’s hybrid corn, the entire crop failed, creating 4 billion rupees in losses and increased poverty for desperately poor farmers. Poor peasants of the South cannot survive seed monopolies. The crisis of suicides shows how the survival of small farmers is incompatible with the seed monopolies of global corporations.
The second pressure Indian farmers are facing is the dramatic fall in prices of farm produce as a result of the WTO’s free trade policies. The WTO rules for trade in agriculture are, in essence, rules for dumping. They have allowed wealthy countries to increase agribusiness subsidies while preventing other countries from protecting their farmers from artificially cheap imported produce. Four hundred billion dollars in subsidies combined with the forced removal of import restriction is a ready-made recipe for farmer suicide. Global wheat prices have dropped from $216 a ton in 1995 to $133 a ton in 2001; cotton prices from $98.2 a ton in 1995 to $49.1 a ton in 2001; Soya bean prices from $273 a ton in 1995 to $178 a ton. This reduction is due not to a change in productivity, but to an increase in subsidies and an increase in market monopolies controlled by a handful of agribusiness corporations.
The region in India with the highest level of farmers suicides is the Vidharbha region in Maharashtra — 4000 suicides per year, 10 per day. This is also the region with the highest acreage of Monsanto’s GMO Bt cotton. Monsanto’s GM seeds create a suicide economy by transforming seed from a renewable resource to a non-renewable input which must be bought every year at high prices. Cotton seed used to cost Rs 7/kg. Bt-cotton seeds were sold at Rs 17,000/kg. Indigenous cotton varieties can be intercropped with food crops. Bt-cotton can only be grown as a monoculture. Indigenous cotton is rain fed. Bt-cotton needs irrigation. Indigenous varieties are pest resistant. Bt-cotton, even though promoted as resistant to the boll worm, has created new pests, and to control these new pests, farmers are using 13 times more pesticides then they were using prior to introduction of Bt-cotton. And finally, Monsanto sells its GMO seeds on fraudulent claims of yields of 1500/kg/year when farmers harvest 300-400 kg/year on an average. High costs and unreliable output make for a debt trap, and a suicide economy.
While Monsanto pushes the costs of cultivation up, agribusiness subsidies drive down the price farmers get for their produce.
Cotton producers in the US are given a subsidy of $4 billion annually. This has artificially brought down cotton prices, allowing the US to capture world markets previously accessible to poor African countries such as Burkina Faso, Benin, and Mali. This subsidy of $230 per acre in the US is untenable for the African farmers. African cotton farmers are losing $250 million every year. That is why small African countries walked out of the Cancun negotiations, leading to the collapse of the WTO ministerial.
The rigged prices of globally traded agriculture commodities steal from poor peasants of the South. A study carried out by the Research Foundation for Science, Technology and Ecology (RFSTE) shows that due to falling farm prices, Indian peasants are losing $26 billion annually. This is a burden their poverty does not allow them t bear. As debts increase — unpayable from farm proceeds — farmers are compelled to sell a kidney or even commit suicide. Seed saving gives farmers life. Seed monopolies rob farmers of life.
Farmers suicides in the state of Chattisgarh have recently been before in the news. 1593 farmers committed suicide in Chattisgarh in 2007. Before 2000 no farmers suicides are reported in the state.
Chattisgarh is the Centre of Diversity of the indice varieties of rice. More than 200,000 rices used to grow in India. This is where eminent rice scientists Dr. Richaria did his collections and showed that tribals had bred many rices with higher yields than the green Revolution varieties.
Today the rice farming of Chattisgarh is under assault. When indigenous rice is replaced with green Revolution varieties, irrigation becomes necessary. Under globalization pressures, rice is anyway a lower priority than exotic vegetables. The farmers are sold hybrid seeds, the seeds need heavy inputs of fertilizers and pesticides, as well as intensive irrigation. And crop failure is frequent. This pushes farmers into debt and suicide.
Chattisgarh is also a prime target for growing of Jatropha for biofuel. Tribals farms are being forcefully appropriated for Jatropha plantations, aggravating the food and livelihood crisis in Chattisgarh. The diesel demand of the automobile industry is given a priority above the food needs of the poor.
The suicide economy of industrialized, globalised agriculture is suicidal at 3 levels - it is suicidal for farmers, it is suicidal for the poor who are derived food, and it is suicidal at the level of the human species as we destroy the natural capital of seed, biodiversity, soil and water on which our biological survival depends.
The suicide economy is not an inevitability. Navdanya has started a Seeds of Hope campaign to stop farmers suicides. The transition from seeds of suicide to seeds of hope includes :
· a shift from GMO and non renewable seeds to organic, open pollinated seed varieties which farmers can save and share.
· a shift from chemical farming to organic farming.
· a shift from unfair trade based on false prices to fair trade based on real and just prices.
The farmers who have made this shift are earning 10 times more than the farmers growing Monsanto’s Bt-cotton.

The Global Food and Health Crisis: Monsanto’s Science Is Bogus
Credit: https://www.globalresearch.ca/the-global-food-and-health-crisis-monsantos-science-is-bogus/5614093
This website clearly states Monsanto Science is Bogus but the worst part is it is dangerous too if used for long term and cause of cancer this is what is not being divulged to the public by the Developed Countries Government nor the Development Countries Government because, Monsanto is able to bribe their way and ensure that their GM Seeds which cause cancers are approved by the Governments all over the world, this is possible only if you throw money like water and that is what Monsanto and other GM Seed Companies are doing along with the Governments and hence we are down with Cancers which is a fact without science backing because science will back only those who can spend money.
Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus is the new director general of the World Health Organization (WHO). With a $4 billion annual budget, WHO’s decisions affects us all and its decisions also affect the bottom line of some of the most powerful corporations on the planet.
Health is political. And health is big business. For instance, WHO makes dietary and nutrition recommendations that can affect the likes of Nestle, Unilever, Pepsi, Coca-Cola, General Mills and Kellogg’s. WHO devises a list of essential medicines that governments should stock for the health of their people, thereby affecting the sales of major pharmaceutical companies. It also helps other UN agencies procure billions of dollars of pharmaceutical products by vetting manufacturers to ensure they meet WHO standards and specifications.
WHO wants to place restrictions on the use of antibiotics in food and livestock production, and it also reviews scientific evidence to appraise the cancer-risk of agricultural chemicals, including Monsanto’s glyphosate-based Roundup and Dow’s 2,4-D.
As you might imagine, WHO recommendations can have massive ramifications for big corporations, which can fight tooth and nail to attack and discredit any WHO decision that could damage their strategic market positions and financial bottom line. And this is exactly what we are witnessing right now as Monsanto battles to protect is multi-billion-dollar money spinner Roundup with yet another smear campaign, this time against US toxicologist Dr Christopher Portier. Given what happened to Seralini and his team’s study, it’s all highly predictable.
Rosemary Mason writes to the WHO
Due the pivotal role of WHO, Dr Rosemary Mason has contacted Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus through an open letter expressing major concerns about role of transnational agrochemical/agritech corporations and the impacts of their products on human health and the environment.
With the focus clearly on Monsanto, Mason brings to the attention of Ghebreyesus the many lawsuits filed against the company alleging that Roundup causes cancer. These cases have forced Monsanto to reveal emails that show it employed ghost-writing, used scientists as paid lobbyists and targeted those that produced evidence that challenged the company in order to keep Roundup, its flagship herbicide, on the market by fraudulent science.
More than 250 lawsuits are pending against Monsanto in US District Court in San Francisco, filed by people alleging that exposure to Roundup herbicide caused them or their loved ones to develop non-Hodgkin lymphoma and that Monsanto covered up the risks (Roundup is linked to cancers of the bone, colon, kidney, liver, melanoma, pancreas and thyroid). Additionally, at least 1,100 plaintiffs have made similar claims against Monsanto in state courts, and US attorneys recently came to the European Union with two plaintiffs to support the Members of the European Parliament in their Public Hearing on The Monsanto Papers and glyphosate.
WHO International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) has declared glyphosate as a 2A carcinogen. As glyphoaste comes up for re-licensing in Europe, in a public hearing in Brussels this month, Dr Christopher Portier and Dr Kate Guyton defended IARC’s position. Dr Portier drew attention to the significance of statistically significant tumor findings that have not been discussed in any of the existing reviews on glyphosate.
Portier concluded that as the regulatory bodies, the European Food Safety Authority and the European Chemicals Agency’s analyses were scientifically flawed. These organisations had also used industry studies that were not in the public domain for ‘reasons of commercial confidentiality’ to support their case that glyphosate was not carcinogenic.
Mason presents a strong case to argue that the US Environmental Protection Agency and European regulators are colluding with Monsanto and the European Glyphosate Task Force: despite the evidence (see Mason’s fully-referenced document ‘Monsanto’ Science is Fraudulent’), they all deny that glyphosate causes cancer.
Corporate hijack of food and farming
Dr Mason goes on to discuss the ‘Green Revolution’ – chemical warfare on plants, soil and biodiversity – which has been a financially lucrative venture for Monsanto, Bayer, Syngenta and the other major agrochemical companies.
She identifies the now well-document links between the Rockefeller Foundation and the Green Revolution and how J.D. Rockefeller’s ‘philanthropy’ was instrumental in helping to destroy traditional health care practices by having pharmaceutical corporations and allopathic medicine take over healthcare with chemical ‘cures’.
By referring to my recent article, Mason brings the director general’s attention to how powerful, unscrupulous interests have hijacked and redefined both food and agriculture to the detriment of human health and the environment. Global corporations have destroyed thousands of years of agriculture; an ongoing destruction that today rests heavily on the renewal of the license for glyphosate!
She also documents at length scientific fraud, corruption by regulatory agencies and collusion at the highest levels of government that have all conspired to destroy human health. In doing so, she presents a good deal of scientific evidence that highlights the deleterious impacts of various agrochemicals on health.
Re-licensing glyphosate: the European Commission must be stopped
As the preeminent body for directing global health and helping people build a healthier, better future across the world (as stated on the WHO website), it the responsibility of WHO to act:
1) The World Health Organization must declare that the current system of pesticides assessment is corrupt.2) The prosecutor of the International Criminal Court has stated his intention to introduce the crime of ecocide – the destruction of the environment – as a crime against humanity. It could be used against corporations as well as against individual governments.3) WHO should press the prosecutor to complete the legislation so Monsanto can be prosecuted in the International Criminal Court in The Hague for crimes against humanity.4) Other agrochemical corporations, the pesticide regulators and governments (including Britain) should follow.“The power of the corporations over governments and over the scientific community is extremely important. If you want to deal with pesticides, you have to deal with the companies.” UN’s special rapporteur on the right to food, Hilal Elver
It not just about the companies. You also have to challenge the destructive system that fuels the global food and health crisis.
Appendix
Cancer Research UK statistics for the UK
In 2014 there were13,605 new cases of non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) (4,801 deaths); 41,265 new cases of bowel cancer (15,903 deaths); 12,523 new cases of kidney cancer (4,421 deaths); 5,550 new cases of liver cancer (5,091 deaths); 5,419 new cases of melanoma (2,459 deaths); 3,404 new cases of thyroid cancer (376 deaths); and 10,063 new cases of bladder cancer (5,369 deaths)
There were 9,324 new cases of uterine cancer (2,166 deaths); 7,378 cases of ovarian cancer (4,128 deaths); 9,534 new cases of leukaemia (4,584 deaths); 55,222 new cases of invasive breast cancer (11,433 deaths); 46,690 new cases of prostate cancer (11,287 deaths); 8,919 new cases of oesophageal cancer (7,790 deaths); 2,418 new cases of testicular cancer (60 deaths); and 5,501 new cases of myeloma (2,928 deaths). In the US in 2014 there were 24,050 new cases of myeloma.
Unfortunately, the public narrative on cancer has been hijacked by the very corporations responsible for much of the increase in these diseases, thereby conveniently diverting attention away from their role.

Homeopathy Practitioners can now practice Modern Medicine in Maharashtra
The way European Countries Scientists and all those who are fans of Modern Medicine are going after Homeopathy makes me wonder the power of money is indeed very strong that educated people will also under the guise of scientific proof of hearsay state that Homeopathy is but only pills.
But Believe it or not Homeopathy delivers what Allopathy or Modern Medicine do not and hats off to a state in Maharashtra, India which has allowed Homeopathy Practitioners to practice Modern Medicine. Whatever anyone may say, those who have been treated by real homeopathy doctors will never again trust Modern Medicine and those associated with it like me. Below is the articles link

All those who are die hard fans of Science are those who knows something except the factual truths
It is mystifying that we have this 5,000-year-old science that we disregard to a large extent.
Modern medicine is a vital, lifesaving tool but perhaps if we follow the principles of Ayurveda we may not need this tool as frequently as we do and the way Modern Medicine has been spreading lies of scientific cure, one day almost all the people will loose faith because a person can be fooled once, twice but not when he or she is down with Cancer and Auto Immune Disease
Please see the link below, if you are looking for cure for Cancer and Auto Immune and life threatening disease, a look at my website will be in order because not all Science based evidence is truth, not all that you hear is truth, not all that you see is truth. According to Ayurveda disease can be caused by things including thought pattern, emotional states, and deeply ingrained beliefs.
It is difficult to change the pattern of thought that a human has been brought up with, a training that has been ingrained since childhood, a modern medicine that has been giving since childhood, a GMO food eaten since childhood, food that has been laden with toxic contents and eaten daily which gives no side effect but continues eating for years ensures that important part of your body is diseased, a fastfood that is eating since childhood, more so in European Countries, mainly US, a though pattern that has been developed since childhood but read the below:

Only if you believe it will work - Alternative Medicine really works
Why do you think you buy Food Products that are advertised on TV and Hoardings and Other Advertisement channels, it is nothing but repeated information about the same thing that then registers with your mind as true and that is true for Modern Medicine, after being brought up with Modern Medicines, alternative will always be either primitive or scams but what you hear always is not true but fact cannot be changed whatever wrong information is being spread by those who has money interest in seeing that people do not completely avoid modern medicine. More so because these people know very well that in India and other countries, there are cures for Auto Immune Disease via Ayurveda, Unani, Homeopathy, etc

Here is a link that is worthwhile to read for those who do not trust alternative. The situation in current modern world is that System is churning out so called experts but those experts who think that 6 to 8 years of study makes them expert but ask them what is the exact ingredients in a capsule prescribed by them, they hardly know, how then can they know the side effects which does not leave evidence.

Modern Day Doctors advise to be prepared for life in a wheelchair, while the patient decided to go alternative and got cured
Stop eating what you were eating at the time of your diagnosis, go organic - You need to know that everything that reaches your house in this modern day is pumped with pesticides, harmful toxic, GMO because everyone is interested in MONEY even your government so it is upto you to form a community to reverse this so that your children, your relatives do not fall prey to modern day new disease which even Science dont know how it happens, so Cancer and Auto Immune Disease can be cured but you need to think out of the box why it is happening
The store of Anita and how she used Chiropractors, an alternative to cure her multiple sclerosis and the Modern Day Doctors advise to prepare hereself for life in a wheelchair, but she chose a different path and got cured, below is the link and her story

May 31, 2017 MSWA an ‘angel service’ When Anita Gamba was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 1989, she says virtually nothing was known about the neurological condition. She had put her deteriorating health down to her recent pregnancy when within the space of a year, she was experiencing paralysis in her arms, hands, legs and feet, had little feeling in her stomach and back, was declared legally blind, her speech was slurred and she’d lost some of her cognitive skills. “In December 1989, I collapsed and spent three days in Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital. An MRI revealed I had multiple sclerosis but the prognosis wasn’t good, one doctor told me all they could do was prepare me for life in a wheelchair,” Anita said. “With no internet, the local library was my best source of information and when I couldn’t see any care or support services in Western Australia, the family moved to the United States.” While it was a culture shock, Anita said she lived in a very supportive and progressive community. She stopped eating red meat and dairy, chiropractors realigned her body to improve blood flow and she meditated for three hours a day. “After about five years I had very few ailments my health returned to normal and I was back working full-time as a chartered accountant. Then, the GFC hit and by 2010 the company I worked for was bankrupt, I’d lost my investments, my house was worthless,” added Anita. At the urging of her Mum, Anita moved to Perth in 2012. By 2013, her health was again deteriorating. “I was heading down the rabbit hole, then MSWA jumped in and put me on the right track. They provided me with occupational therapy, physiotherapy and aqua therapy,” Anita said. “In June last year, I collapsed and I’ve been in a wheelchair since then. But I receive funding for the MSWA services I need and receive support from carers to help me shower, clean the house and drive me where I need to go. I don’t know what I’d do without MSWA. They’re an angel service.” Determined not to give up, Anita has set herself the goal of walking again by the end of the year. In the meantime, she wants to help other people with disabilities connect with the services they need. Anita is telling her story on World MS Day to help raise awareness about multiple sclerosis and the treatment, support and education services offered by MSWA to its more than 2,000 Members. “It’s fair to say we’ve come a long way since 1989 when Anita was diagnosed, when it comes to understanding and treating MS. We’re currently funding some very interesting local research which we’re hoping will help us to find another piece in puzzle,” said MSWA Member Services General Manager, Sue Shapland “This year, MSWA is investing a record $2.5 million into MS research in Australia, which is more than twice the amount of all the other states’ contributions added together. And I’d like to thank the people of Western Australia for their support and generosity which has allowed us to year on year, grow the support and services we provide to people with MS and other neurological conditions.” -endsMedia contact: Tony Monaghan, The Brand Agency 0428 280 593

Modern Day Doctor knowing nothing about Homeopathy thinks he is an expert - See below and link
Here is a link where the writer is a Modern Medicine Doctor, you will see that here are people refuting his argument that Homeopathy in negative spirit while praising Modern Day Medicine and in spite of many comments that Homeopathy really works for them, with little knowledge trying to refute that Homeopathy is nothing of what Modern Medicine is.
I would like to say that the following symptoms associated with major diseases has been cured for me and my family and others
1. Varicose Veins
2. High Cholesterol which modern doctors told me that I will have to remain on cholesterol reducing modern day medicine for my entire life. I was taking the medicine for more than 11 years, after I started alternative medicines like Ayurveda and Homepathy, I am completely cured since 2013 and have discontinued cholestrol medicine and I am alive today
3. liver Cirrhosis cured while modern medicine doctors was going on giving medicines
4. Frozen Shoulder Cured
5. Piles Issues which was there for 10 years cured after going for Homepathy
This is my and my family cure story and most import there is no side effects of homepathy medicines while always taking modern day medicine there were side effects.
Still, there are some modern day doctors and those with connection to modern day medicine and doctors through their busiens which is trying their best to show Homeopathy in poor light.
Know that every scientific scrutiny is not truth, and every advertisements articles is also not fact.
See the link below. Seeing below article, all i can say is that nowadays doctors who learn for 5 to 6 years think they are experts in their own field and while writing articles of another field even if they hardle know less then 1%, they think that they are expert to given a negative opinion of alternatives like Homeopathy:

Modern Medicines and Doctors who prescribe the medicines dont want to accept their failure to cure and writer will write articles that it is all that you should rely on but see the statistics or your own health issue you will realise they dont cure like Homeopaths Ayurveda and Nadipathy in India
Modern medicines and doctors who prescribe the medicines don’t want
to accept their failure to cure, mainly due to money consideration, yes cure
can be found in modern medicine but if cure is found then where will the money
come for the pharmaceuticals and modern medical fraternity. Alternatives like on the other hand clearly
is the winner in at least curing the symptoms of even cancers provide you go to
Homeopaths who really knows his/her homeopathy medicine. Depressions can be cured by Homeopathy but
world over people are relying on Modern Medicines which keeps symptoms in check
and add to the already health issues by way of side effects of those medicines,
the cycle goes on, neither the patient is cured nor he or she gets relief but
there are 1000s who stand by modern medicine.
I agree modern medicine in case of emergency but when no emergency other
alternative with good doctors are there, you need to google like I do and you
will find it. Check out my website thoroughly
and you will realize what you have been made to think through various articles
written by those writers who know nothing about a from b of homeopathy but you
will also find that there is a link of such writer to the moder medical
fraternity or pharmaceuticals.

In Mumbai, several organisations and doctors are set to
work on WHO theme ‘Depression: Let’s Talk’ on Friday to encourage people to
come forward and talk about their mental health
On Friday, to mark the World Health Day, doctors and counselors
are set to raise awareness on depression, the theme for this year, to highlight
its rising incidence amongst urban population. In the latest case, a
24-year-old college student jumped from Taj Lands End hotel in Bandra after
going live on a social networking site to announce depression and suicide
attempt.
“About 25 per cent of my patients are young people aged between
15 to 25 years. There is so much competition and peer pressure they face. Addiction
to drugs and alcohol happens as a way of self-treatment for anxiety and
depression by these youngsters,” said psychiatrist Vishal Sawant.
According to him, addiction to either alcohol or drug can lead
to co-morbid anxiety disorder. “It needs to be identified by parents early and
taken note of,” he added.
The World Health Organisation estimates that over 300 million
people suffer from depression globally, an increase by 18 per cent from 2005.
On April 9, counselors and psychologists in Thane are set to conduct a street
play along with walkathon and cyclothon to attract people’s attention towards
depression, its diagnosis and intervention.
“In Thane Mental hospital, we get at least two patients of
severe depression every day who need hospitalisation. In general public,
prevalence is estimated to be 10 per cent,” said Anjali Deshpande, chief
medical officer at Thane Mental hospital.
According to Dr Shubhangi Parkar, KEM hospital’s psychiatry
head, teenage depression and anxiety also increases during exam time of
February and March. “At our psychiatry department, we get a lot of youngsters
for drug abuse. Depression is rising in both urban and rural areas, specially
in younger generation,” she said.
In Mumbai, several organisations and doctors are set to work on
WHO theme ‘Depression: Let’s Talk’ on Friday to encourage people to come
forward and talk about their mental health. The state government is organising
a panel discussion on this in Yashwantrao Chavan hall for psychiatrists and
general public to openly discuss depression issues.
