Microwave: In current fast paced modern world, we want everything to be done fast, we do not have the time or do not get time to wait for something as cooking to take time, and hence people with imagination invent new things to make our life easier and such invention as microwave has being added to our life to make our life easier and is simple, convenient options for all the people on the go.  For the past few decades, the microwave has been a mainstay in most developed nation, virtually transforming society and changing the way we view food but despite its wonders have you ever realized that some of the things that are invented for the benefit of people, can prove to be a major health risk and using microwave continuously day in and day out is very harmful to the people who are the nearest to microwave.  You need to be aware that though the heating gets very fast in microwave, microwave is not the healthiest cooking option and microwave cooking also ensures that the nutrients are also destroyed during the cooking process.  Out there, there are better options available that will ensure that nutrients remain in your food but people do not want to go for other options.  It is a common knowledge that if you stand too close to a microwave, the body absorbs second hand radiation that the microwave releases and increase the risks of various auto immune disease and cancers and you will find that people are even blatantly opening the door of the microwave even when the cooking or heating process is going on and remove the food, this also is very very harmful to the human body.  Remember that you do not get auto immune disease or even cancer within 1 day or 2 day of exposing to such harmful radiation or in that case any other cancer causing substance, it is continuous usage that finally ends in you contracting a disease or even cancer, yes, most of you out there with some health issue or the other or even cancer would understand it better because you are going through such a state from which you want relief so that you can carry on your day to day work without any issue.  So as far as possible avoid using microwave, this is one of the tips to ensure that the nutrients remain in the food at the same time ensure that your body is not attacked by the radiation day in and day out.

Soak in vitamin D(cont’d)If you are in a region where you are not able to soak in the morning sunlight then vitamin D is also found in many foods, including fortified milk, cod liver oil, salmon, tuna, mackerel, cheese also contains small amounts of vitamin D, also small amounts are found in beef liver and egg yolks.  The major role of vitamin D is to maintain normal blood levels calcium and phosphorus.  Vitamin D helps the body absorb calcium, which forms and maintains strong bone.  It is used alone or together with calcium to improve bone health and decrease fractures.  Vitamin D may also protect against osteoporosis (a condition that causes bones to become weak and brittle) in adults, high blood pressure, other diseases and even cancer.  A severe deficiency can also lead to rickets (a condition that causes softening and weakening of the bones) in kids.  Vitamin D enables calcium absorption in the gut and maintain blood calcium levels to enable normal mineralization of bone and prevent abnormally low blood calcium levels that can then lead to Tetany - a condition that is due to usually low blood calcium (hypokalemia) and is characterized by cramps, spasm of the voice box (larynx), spasms of the hands and feet, cramps, and overactive neurological reflexes.  Tetany is generally considered to result from very low calcium levels in the blood so the thing to remember is that if you are getting no or less sunlight and the above symptoms then immediately go to the doctor and get it diagnosed and follow instructions by the conventional doctor.

You need to know that vitamin D insufficiency leads to secondary hyperparathyroidism(overly active parathyroid glands) that cause increase bone loss, osteopenia and increased fracture risk is there if you are deficient in vitamin D.  The main cause of fracture observed after fall by elderly is due to deficiency in calcium.  A severe vitamin D deficiency can cause myopathy, which can cause muscle weakness and pain.  Vitamin D deficiency has also been seen in knee and hip pain.   Research has shown that vitamin D has a protective effect in development of other cancers, including breast, colon and prostate cancers.

Some research suggested that vitamin D deficiency might be linked to diabetes, asthma, Alzheimer’s depression and certain autoimmune diseases so you can see for yourself what deficiency in vitamin D can do to your health, these are but some issues that you will face due to deficiency in vitamin D there might be 10s of other disease that can happen due to deficiency is vitamin D.
